Keavy Hennessey Smith is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Life Coach based in the MetroWest Boston area. Over the past twenty years she has worked with a diverse clientele of adults, teens and children including working with children and families in foster care, teenage mothers, individuals in homeless shelters and emergency care at public hospitals, as well as adults with disabilities. Keavy offers a confidential, safe, trauma-informed, and solution-centered approach to treatment, to support you as you navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. In sessions, Keavy’s approach is collaborative and strongly rooted in the goal to help you live your best life.

Together you will customize a unique growth and treatment plan that nurtures positive change and helps you develop tools, enabling you to navigate life transitions with ease and joy. Keavy believes in guiding you to break from crisis and stress cycles, while gaining insight into your established patterns, by setting achievable goals that include small, daily shifts and long-range objectives.

Keavy works with people of all genders and ages, with a special focus on adolescents, women, couples and families. She has also taught social work and mentored therapists at Boston College, Wheelock College, Simmons University and Harvard University.
